Install New Locking Controls
Replacement of existing Windows 95-based locking, lighting, and fan control systems and housing unit intercom systems, I/O boards, and relays utilizing new wiring provided from the penthouse area to all 4 housing unit door locks. Broadway Electric, Inc. installed new control systems to provide standalone computers for each cell house, segregation, and receiving area. This included new locking, lighting, and fan control consoles in each housing area guard station, and new intercom controls and speakers. Each housing unit being its own standalone system. The project replaces the touchscreen controls with a mouse/monitor served by the new computers. All wiring was reused when in the Segregation and Receiving area and new electronics were added for controls. New locks were provided for the first and second floors on one wing of a housing unit and the central guard area cell door.
